Ron Paul fundraiser Trevor Lyman is planning a new money bomb, but this time it's for Hillary Clinton - with a twist. In the past two months Lyman has raised over $10 million for Republican candidate Ron Paul, through two special events on November 5th and December 16th. Now he's planning something special for Democrat Hillary Clinton as well.
The Ron Paul money bombs put together by Lyman raised $10 million in US currency. The twist Lyman has in mind for Sen. Clinton involves a different currency - the Liberty Dollar. Ron Paul has often criticized US currency policy since the gold standard was abandoned. Supporters of Ron Paul were fond of the Liberty Dollar, which was crushed by the federal government to protect the government monopoly over the currency.
So now Trevor Lyman is encouraging his e-mail list of 50,000 contributors, hoping that each will send one Liberty Dollar to the Hillary Clinton campaign. It's early yet, but Lyman says he already has 10,000 commitments. The Hillary bomb is scheduled, of course, for April 1st.
