Coca-Cola have agreed to sponsor next years Christmas, in a deal worth around £2.4 Billion. This means that the only soft drinks available will be made by Coca-Cola. Santa will also have to have the Coca-Cola logo on his hat and coat which has cost them an extra £500 million.
The deal was struck today at 12:45 as Santa and his helper agents met with representatives from the company, they were seen entering The Hilton in London, England early this morning and left at around 13:00. A statement was released by one of Santa's helpers at 13:46.
"Today is a great day for Christmas, it will be sponsored for the first time ever in order to gain revenue for better presents. Santa decided it was time to bring in some sponsorship and we have struck up a great deal with Coke, many people are worried that we will ruin Christmas and it will become a corporate thing. This is nonsense, it will only add to the Christmas spirit."
Shortly after the conference Santa was seen leaving with a large briefcase and a van full of sprite.
