Surprise, TheSpoof.com may owe its silly stories to sleeping spouses of spoof writers. Several spoofers say they spend sleepless nights spoofing while spouses snore. The sleepless spouses have to have something to do and less sleep means silly-er stories, too bad the long nights means more errrors are worser spelt worlds.
So far no survey has sampled a significant number of spoofers as to the sources of their silly (or sarcastic) inspiration. Seems some simply don't know where the stories come from. Some don't care. They just type and type the whole, something just went spoof in the night.
"Sleep is a dream, I won't be having tonight," says Princess Poole.
