Little Yorkie Dogs everywhere are disappointed to learn that there is still six months until Christmas. Yorkies are loved and adored (and spoiled) by their owners. Because of this, they are one of the breeds most likely to receive Christmas gifts, and many await it with anticipation all year.
Now as they begin to hear the fireworks and run to hide under the bed, they realize it will be a long wait for that new sweater. Some have been treated by vets and pet psychiatrists for major depression. For melancholic mutts these truly are the dog days of summer.
We all hope these little pups will cheer up and enjoy the rest of the year; Labor Day weinner roasts, Halloween candy and Thanksgiving turkey are just around the corner. Just remember "Bite size" for a Yorkie is not very big!
