President George W. Bush celebrated the 4th of July with fireworks and a bbq. Bush, at the Crawford Ranch for the Independence Day holiday, oohed and aahed with the rest at the "rockets red glare" overhead.
Before the professional fireworks show, however, he celebrated in what he said was a traditional fashion by shooting Roman Candles and bottle rockets at all "Democrat" reporters and Secret Service Agents. No one was seriously injured, but the President said he did get a minor "boo boo burn" on one of his fingers that Laura had to kiss better.
After the fireworks, Bush assisted in grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for all those assembled. After the burnt offerings were put on the table, those who had anticipated the results beforehand brought out buckets of KFC chicken and six foot Subway sandwiches from nearby Waco.
