Governor Arnold Schwarzeneggar has just announced that he has ordered a unit of the California National Guard activated immediately to secure the Los Angeles County Jail and prevent the interference of any "outside entities" in the ongoing Paris Hilton crisis.
By "outside entities", the governor is referring to agents of the U.S. Department of Justice, who will be seeking to arrest Ms. Hilton so that she can be declared an enemy combatant and sent to the naval base at Gitmo, and authorities of the executive branch of government, which are largely still believed to be loyal to the president, who seek to enforce President Bush's pardon of the hotel heiress.
