CALEXICO, California - (Satire News) - The Cosmos News Service reports that Calexico's St. Sylvester Church has just been named "The Prettiest Church in California."
CNS writer Armada Aquatica said that the church, which was built in 1799, is 223 years old, and it still has the original organ, benches, and collection plates.
The church was constructed by a construction firm from Iceland, and it has been visited by a total of 13 different popes, including last Easter by Pope Francisco.
The Church was recently featured in Catholic Churches Illustrated Weekly Magazine, and two years ago it was used as the Catholic church in the Britney Spears movie, "Oops, I've Misplaced My Bingo Cards." ■
