WASHINGTON, D.C. - (Satire News) - White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre informed the US news media that POTUS had to make an emergency trip to Costa Rica.
The press secretary said that the reason for the trip is to see about doing something about the banana shortage that has suddenly hit the US.
Food outlets that sell banana splits like Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins, and Ice Princess say that due to the banana shortage they have had to raise the prices of their banana splits by as much as 500%.
Costa Rican President Rodrigo Alberto de Jesus Timmy Chaves Robles has informed President Biden, that due to the recent three hurricanes that have hit his country, they literally have bananas coming out of their ears.
SIDENOTE: The US Department of Agriculture has said that President Robles has stated that he will gladly sell to the wonderfully kind, caring, American president, bananas at the rate of 100 adult bananas for 2¢, which is one hell of a fantastic deal!
