DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa state legislature met in an emergency session to vote on an issue that had been bouncing around (no pun intended) on the senate chamber floor for a while.

The senators all agreed to make it a 'hurry up' vote so that they and their families would all be able to attend The 71st Annual Chickasaw Corn on the Cob Country Fair Tractor Race.

The vote came out 96-4, which now makes it illegal for anyone, including strippers, to use the phrase tit for tat.

That phrase has upset little, old, blue-haired Evangelical ladies for the past five decades.

One proud devoted Evy, who identified herself as Ava “Bubbles” Tipperlock, 71, said that, now she can finally keep from shaking every time that one of her 13 college-age granddaughters, or 2 high school grandsons, uses that sensuously-erotic phrase.

Ava said that she is sad that her grandmother, Aurora Nora Fonbaum didn’t live to see this day.

She pointed out that Granny Nory found the phrase even more offensive and depressing, since she wore a size 48-AAA bra .

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
