WASHINGTON, D.C. – Several more networks have now opted to no longer allow the president to use his daily Coronavirus press conferences as self-serving campaign pep rallies.
CNN and MSNBC have now joined The New York World Register, The Hollywood Gazette-Globe, and Betty’s New Agency, and will no longer give free publicity to the pomp and circumstance rallies.
A White House insider reportedly said that Trump is extremely angry, and has vowed to focus most of his wrath on CNN and MSNBC.
When asked what that meant, he simply winked, and replied, “It means that I am going to do everything in my presidential royal power to see that those two networks go bankrupt as soon as possible, if not sooner.”
The president was asked if that wasn’t simply a case of sour grapes. He nodded his head in the affirmative, and said, “Yes, I love sour grapes. In fact, next to Big Macs and KFC chicken wings, I love eating sour grapes…with chocolate cake.”
IN A RELATED STORY – First Lady Melania Trump confided to one of her White House assistants that CNN has asked her to be a White House contributing correspondent and she is reportedly thinking about it.
