The former US president, Jimmy Carter, has been released from hospital after hurting himself in a fall, presumably. Much of the world's press carried this story. However, the real truth can now be disclosed.
Ex-president Carter was injured when a cabal of six-year-old boys playacting as indians, fired their arrows at the 95-year-old, who was relaxing in a hammock reading the New York Times, piercing his skin in a number of places.
The ex-president was taken to the local hospital, and his wounds treated with Betadine (now there's a plug for you). Indians have now been banned for some period of time from his residence.
