The towns of Rachel and Hiko in Nevada have begun, this week, welcoming visitors to their respective towns for the two festivals planned to take place in the area next week.
'Alienstock' and 'Storm Area 51 Basecamp', the two events organized, are expected to bring more than 50,000 outsiders to the towns, which have a normal combined total of 173 residents.
Many of the visitors are there to storm Area 51, the US Air Force base where secretive work is carried out with aliens.
One first-timer to the area, Zrog, from the planet Krycgnik, 120,000 light years from the Earth, said:
"Where are the aliens? I want to see the aliens!"
Another, Oqaqi from Pwarkle, a distant star at the far end of the known universe, told us:
"I'm so excited about meeting the aliens! Me and my wife are going to drop in from 50,000 feet, at the speed of light, to get past those pesky US military radars!"
And worm-like Jyzus, from the garden planet, Soilus123, said:
"Yeah, I'll be going in from underground, to circumvent those archaic defense systems you humanoids deploy."
