Mike Lee Again Wows his Colleagues

Washington - After scoring huge propaganda wins by introducing and then defeating proposed legislation, including the unrefined “Green New Deal” and “Medicare for All” bills, Senate Republicans have brought to the floor, and then defeated, a bill declaring Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to be, by proclamation, President of the United States.

After a day of debate in which Utah Republican Senator Mike Lee again presented his impressive Star Wars/Sharknado story boards, the Senate voted 47-0 to reject the proposal. As in the previous roll call tallies, all Democrats abstained from voting.

McConnell was pleased by his latest coup, and was reportedly preparing similar votes on making Socialism mandatory, and requiring Islam to be the official religion of the United States.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
