While many assertions have been made regarding United States President Donald Trump's mental state, neurologist Donald Fraser, M.D., has proposed an actual solution: a neuro-physical wall to protect the internal boundaries of Trump’s borderline personality.
“The treatment is still highly experimental,” said Dr. Fraser. “But all indications are that Trump is an excellent candidate for the procedure.”
Dr. Fraser explained that the wall would not actually cure the president’s disorder, as it would not alter the underlying mental condition. However, he posited that the wall, if approved by Congress, could prove extremely helpful in guarding the mental borders between Trump’s volatile personalities, thereby preventing conflict on a much grander scale.
Given the experimental nature of the borderline personality wall, the procedure is quite expensive and is not covered by standard health insurance, potentially costing the nation up to $2.5 trillion in out-of-pocket expenses. It is also a very delicate procedure, requiring weeks of hospitalization. Still, given the many likely benefits, Dr. Fraser claims to be making “headway” in convincing the president to undergo the procedure. Moreover, the looming possibility of yet another government shutdown could present an ideal opportunity for Trump to recuperate from the surgery.
“Fingers crossed that it all works out,” said Dr. Fraser. “We’re just aiming to avoid further mental instability in the region - whatever it takes."
