President Donald Trump has chosen his new Chief-of-Staff to replace Gen. John Kelly when the latter leaves the job in January, but some might wonder at his choice of a man, Mick Mulvaney, who already thinks the president is a "terrible human being".
Mulvaney, 51, used those words on 2 November 2016 in a pre-election debate, less than ONE WEEK before Trump 'won' the US Presidential election. His full comment was:
"Yes, I am supporting Donald Trump. I'm doing so as enthusiastically as I can, even the fact that I think he's a terrible human being. The choice on the other side is just as bad."
It's not much of a recommendation.
Two years is a long time in politics, however, and Mr. Mulvaney's damning opinion of Mr. Trump has obviously mellowed a little since then, to the point where he feels he no longer needs to tell the truth anymore.
Shambles time again!
