US President, Donald Trump has reacted to comments made by the French president, Emmanuel Macron, over what the Frenchman said were matters of common decency, that Trump lacked.
In what - for him - was a measured response, Trump blasted:
"Common decency? What does he know about common decency? And this from a man who eats frogs, snails and, no doubt, slugs as well. He probably eats his own shit, if I know anything about those onion-guzzlers!"
Trump also added:
"And I've heard the French consume vast amounts of garlic, even putting it on their breakfast cereal, the animals!"
Trump wasn't finished:
"How can I come in for criticism from someone who allows French women to cultivate profuse amounts of underarm hair, and big, bushy vaginas? Plus, the French stink!"
President Macron, replying to this diatribe, replied:
"Like I said..."
