A fly

US singer Demi Lovato, who was reported as having been taken into hospital on Tuesday, after a 'Publicity Stunt Overdose' (PSO) is said to be 'recovering well', and is expected to be fleecing fans again soon.

Lovato, 25, who was on the road with her 'Tell Me You Love Me' tour, was rushed into a Los Angeles hospital after she was found unconscious at home.

The songstress has faced substance abuse problems, alcoholism issues, and eating disorders in the past, and is constantly trying to overcome them, but it's hard, you know, when you've got so much money, and you just don't know what to do with it. Idle hands, and all that.

Still, she's trying, so let's give her our support.

Lovato's debut album 'Don't Forget' - a plea from her to you - sold 500,000 copies, whilst her follow-up, 'Here We Go Again', indicated 'more of the same'.

Her singles have included 'Heart Attack', which is where she's headed, 'Give Your Heart A Break', the advice a succession of doctors have tried to give her, and the rather indecisive 'Sorry, Not Sorry' - no prizes for guessing that she's tussling with her inner-self again. Her new single is 'Sober', which was to be expected, really.

Other monied 'stars' have come out in support of Lovato. One of them, Ellen deGeneres said something along the lines (if you'll pardon the pun) that "it's such a shame, she's such a lovely sweet person, who wouldn't hurt a fly etc."

Miss Lovato reacted by saying that she had not even seen a fly since around 2011, when she started to employ a man whose job it's been to keep all flies and other flying insects away from her person, because they disgust her.

Sympathetic songwriters everywhere have been sending their heartfelt best wishes and compositions to the chanteuse for inclusion on an even newer new album. They include 'Help Me, I'm Helpless', 'Life's So Hard When You've Got So Much Cash', 'You Don't Know How Hard It Is For Me', 'I Want My Nanny! (To Get Me High)', 'Don't Ignore Me, Goddammit!', and 'Your Attention, Please! (If It's Not Too Much To Ask!)'.

Best wishes to Demi for a speedy recovery.
