Washington - All Indictments have finally been handed down in the Russian election meddling investigation by the Justice Department and Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
The individuals, including 811 Russian nationals, President Trump and 72 million U.S. citizens with Facebook, Twitter and other social media accounts, are charged with “creating, distributing, sharing or publicly liking unproven, false or misleading information on social media in an attempt to influence the 2016 election in the United States”.
Several members of President Trump’s campaign and their associates, as well as the CEO’s of Facebook, Twitter and other social media companies were cooperating with the Special Prosecutor and thus not included in the indictments.
