New charges in the Harvey Weinstein case show that Weinstein's neighbor's poodle, Rex, has filed a harassment suit against the former movie mogul.
The poodle is alleging that Weinstein forced his way through a hedge separating the two properties and wooed him with a ham bone.
After rubbing his tummy uninvited, Weinstein is said to have attached a leash around the dog's neck and made him walk around a bit while he watched.
"If I'd had any idea what his real motives were, I would not have taken the bone," Rex said.
Weinstein is later alleged to have dressed the poodle in a hat and gloves and paraded him up and down the high street with a handbag over his shoulder.
Weinstein has denied the charges, claiming he'd seen the poodle around town on a number of occasions and had been led to believe this was exactly what he wanted. He says he was unaware he was doing anything wrong.
Rex has described himself as humiliated by the experience, claiming that Mr. Weinstein knew exactly what he was doing when he wheeled him along in a shopping basket directly in front of the local Rottweiler.
