WASHINGTON, DC - Today, the EPA classified clouds as "pollutants" under section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act.
The declaration came after a new study was released, indicating that clouds are playing a larger role in melting the Greenland Ice Sheet than scientists previously believed.
The study, published yesterday in Nature Communications, shows that clouds are raising the temperature of the Greenland Ice Sheet and accounting for as much as 30 percent of the ice sheet melt.
EPA Administrator, Gina McCarthy, stated that the clouds would not be tolerated and refused to take anything off the table, including nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.
