BILLINGSGATE POST: In the on-going saga of Coyote vs Road Runner, an escalation engineered by the ever-devious Road Runner confused the GPS setting on the ACME HellFire missile, resulting in a total malfunction of the tracking device, causing it to home in and hit the unsuspecting Coyote as he was chortling behind his ACME Control Unit.
The Road Runner, using the the same firm who cloned Dolly (The Sheep) in 1996, had 100 Road Runner clones made of himself from a frozen DNA sample he furnished from a sperm sample he emitted while watching the Coyote get zapped in an earlier episode. Concerned that the Coyote was winning the high-tech war, he ordered the clones from the respected Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, Scotland.
When signaled by his ACME Early-Warning Device, he released the clones in the area being targeted, befuddling the ACME Road Runner Heat-Seeking Tracking Device, causing it to revert back to the ACME Control Unit manned by the Coyote.
Not daunted by this latest counter-play, Coyote had ACME Tech-Reps install a Road Runner Facial Recognition chip into the HellFire missile tracking device, and his now planning his next caper.
