NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK - A MONSTER storm packing blizzard conditions spun by the elite East Coast media failed to live up to the hype, but New York City shut down anyway to allow government workers to take an additional day off with pay.
Many citizens were seen roaming the streets and subways, squealing in fear, anticipating the blizzard that never occurred.
Mayor Bill DeBlahzio asked citizens to remain calm, stay in their rooms and go to bed early. Mayor DeBlahzio also signed an executive order, mandating that the city remain shut down until Spring to allow the citizens to remain calm
