Jim Inhoff Speaks On Climate Change

As is well known, the U.S. Congress represents the wisdom of the whole nation. The two houses together are an august, majestic body admired throughout the world.

Perhaps symbolic of the will of millions of Americans is the re-election of GOP Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe author of "The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future." He will head the Senate committee that oversees the country's environmental policy.

It is simply not true that his stupidity and ignorance will make the committee ineffectual. Just yesterday he gave a reasoned account of why he rejects bilateral U.S.-China climate agreement just signed by the 2 nations.

"It just plain sucks and I just really, really, don't like it," said Inhofe.

As perhaps the majority of Americans do, Inhofe worships and believes in a Sky God, just as the ancient Romans were believers in a Sky Father named Jupiter. He has said, " God's still up there. The arrogance of people to think that we, human beings, would be able to change what He is doing in the climate is to me outrageous."

And, like millions of his fellow citizens, who are anti-science he does not believe in the findings of 98% of scientists who warn of the dangers of climate change. "With all of the hysteria, all of the fear, all of the phony science, could it be that manmade global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people? It sure sounds like it."

Too, he has said that CO2 emissions are beneficial to the environment and that they will help people to live longer.

Since South Africa, Russia, and Tragicstan are among the top nations who deny human made climate change, Inhoff is greatly admired there. Too, We hear from people of various faiths around the world who passages from Holy Texts that deny there is a close connection between humans and nature. In Batshitcrazyistan a Roman Catholic Bishop has said that Inhoff should be considered for sainthood.

The 64% of Congressional Republicans who are climate change deniers makes them and Inhoff-and the Congress itself-widely admired in many quarters of the world, particularly by fundamentalist Christians and Salafist Muslims. That the later are prone to terrorist violence has nothing to do with their correct views on Climate Change as being a hoax.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
