Rory Reid, son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, today announced a controversial plan to sell the entire state of Nevada to the Communist Chinese Government. Terms of the deal are being withheld, pending approval by the gambling syndicate.
"Maybe" Said Vegas Mogul Steve Wynn. "We always welcome a fresh infusion of capital; we just need to work out the details."
Senator Reid himself, while insisting the he "had nothing to do with making the deal" sought to reassure critics, some of whom were questioning the wisdom of selling land that includes Area 51, where some of the nation's most secret military technology is housed, to a foreign nation. Others raised questions about China's human rights and environmental record.
"Don't worry about that" said Reid. "President Obama has already sold the last of the military secrets that Bill Clinton couldn't peddle. And as far as their record of jailing or killing dissidents, well, you know, maybe we can learn a thing or two from our friends from the orient. Mr. Cliven Bundy and his terrorist militia followers may have a surprise or two in store for them when this deal is done" he added with a gleam in his eye.
