Durango, Colorado - CNN reports that Rayburn and Gertrude Frycurtain of Durango have just celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary.
The happy couple was married back on April 17, 1934 in their hometown of Durango.
The Frycurtains were taken to a local Gunfight At The OK Corral Steakhouse by their 7 children, 21 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren.
Both Grandpa Ray, 99, and Granny Gertie, 96, as everyone calls them passed up on the steaks and instead feasted on a Caesar Salad and a side order of mashed potatoes.
Both however did down three Prune Margaritas each. Grandpa Ray started to light up one of his cigars but he forgot that he had left it sitting on the bathroom sink.
The great grandkids bought the lovely couple a pinata shaped like a giant marijuana seed.
Granny Gertie said that it was a beautiful looking sunflower seed and everyone just left it at that.
After the dinner everyone went down the street to a Frozen Fauna Ice Cream Shop where Grandpa and Granny shared a One Scooped Vanilla Ice Cream Cone and the rest of the adults had the Cannabis Flavored Durango Bango Boom Boom Three Scooper.
SIDENOTE: The grandkids and great grandkids all got their Sponge Bob Square Pants Ice Cream Cups when they got back home.
