NEW YORK CITY - LaGuardia Airport officials have told passengers not to worry as they have made arrangements to provide each boarding passenger with a snow shovel.
Shayla Spinfiggle, 32, spokeswoman for LaGuardia Airport stated that the idea has been extremely well received by everyone including those passengers who are in wheelchairs and walkers.
Miss Spinfiggle said that if it comes down to being snowed in and having to sleep on a cold airport floor or getting out and helping the flight crew shovel snow away from the airplane tires, the snow shoveling wins everytime.
One traveler who lives in Fort Worth, Texas, commented that shoveling snow is a piece of cake compared to having to shovel horse (manure).
SIDENOTE: Most airlines are giving passengers who agree to shovel snow a 27 percent discount on their air fare.
