ATLANTA, Georgia - Meteorologists throughout the Peach State of Georgia are warning state residents that big bad Snowzilla is on her way.
Thick layers of ice up to 2-feet thick are being predicted and some estimates expect as much as 19 inches of snow to fall on the state that is home to the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Hawks.
A spokesperson for the city has said that they have brought in snow equipment from as far north as the North Pole and they have purchased 23,714 tons of salt from a salt mine in Pennsylvania.
Resident of Georgia have been warned to stay inside and cuddle like the dickens because it is going to be colder than a South Pole penguin's butt.
Long time Atlanta resident Spencer Matchmill, 83, said that he is not afraid of ice or snow. He grinned and said "Now a friggin volcano from hell, yes that scares the begeebers out of me and my cougar wife Eunice May who is 87."
