LOS ANGELES - In what several news publications have reported as being absolutely amazing, a woman from East Los Angeles has swum from Los Angeles all the way to Honolulu, Hawaii, a distance of 2,551 miles.
The Cucamonga Chit Chat Chronicle reports that Simone Kitchewood, 24, who is due in 4 weeks, decided to swim the distance on a bet with her father-in-law Bernard Kitchenwood, 51.
Bernard Kitchenwood reportedly bet his daughter-in-law $825 that she would quit before completing the swim from L.A. to Honolulu.
Simone said that she really does not like her father-in-law because he is very arrogant, sarcastic, and egotistical, so that was all the incentive she needed to succeed.
Simone, who looks a lot like Paris Hilton, commented that she will use the $825 to buy baby clothes, baby food, and a Shetland pony for her 21-year-old husband Woody Kitchenwood.
