President Obama won $18,700 on an NFL sports bet.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - President Obama is smiling from ear-to-ear as he took the New York Giants and 24 points against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks defeated the Giants 23-0, but the president won the sports bet due to the point spread giving him a score of Giants 24 - Seattle 23.

The president was asked by Zorro La Bamba with The Sports Bet Gazette how much he had won on the game, but he simply smiled and said "Well, let me just say this Zorro, it was a heck of a whole bunch."

Vice-President Joe Biden later let it slip that the president had won $18,700.

The vice-president was asked what President Obama planned on doing with the game winnings. The vice-president shrugged his shoulders and replied that he thinks the president is going to use the money to pay off two credit card bills.
