SAVANNAH, Georgia - President Obama was in Savannah speaking before a group of retired peach pickers.
He told the group that he has always admired Southern pickers and he was not referring to guitar players.
The president said that without pickers to pick the precious peaches we would not have peach cobbler, peach ice cream, peach mousse, Peach Margaritas, or even peach tacos.
After the meeting the president was asked by one of the retired peach pickers who he was picking to win Super Bowl XLVIII (48).
The president took a sip of his Diet 7 Up. He paused to look around and said that although he likes both the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos he is picking the Broncos.
He smiled as he said that he had bet $7,000 on them to win so he will certainly be cheering loud and hard for the boys from the Rocky Mountains.
