LOS ANGELES - A spokesperson for Happy Joy Airlines is thrilled to announce that the airline has just initiated its first direct flight from Los Angeles into Aspen, Colorado AKA Cannabis City.
Airline Spokeswoman Rhiannon Dibbledew, 29, told the news media that the first flight was booked solid with a total of 157 happy-as-hell passengers.
She noted that some of the passengers on the first flight into Aspen included celebrities Tommy Chong, Joaquin Phoenix, Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, Lindsay Lohan, and former baseball star Jose Canseco.
Miss Dibbledew informed the media that one of the perks on the Aspen flight is that in lieu of peanuts and pretzels, the airline attendants handed out complimentary marijuana joints.
She added that the plane was stocked with every kind of pizza made.
Upon landing at Aspen's Snowman International Airport, the passengers were greeted with a Welcome To Colorado Gift Packet which included a pack of marijuana seeds, a $40 gift certificate good at any of Aspen's pot shops, a commemorative roach clip, and a marijuana brownie.
Dibbledew pointed out that the Snowman International Airport played marijuana appropriate music over the airport's intercom system.
Songs included "Rocky Mountain High," "Stone Soul Picnic," "The Air That I Breathe," "I Wanna Take You Higher," and "Eight Miles High."
SIDENOTE: Rhiannon Dibbledew proudly stated that The Happy Joy Airlines' motto is "Nobody, But Nobody, Flies Higher Than Happy Joy."
