VAIL, Colorado - Corky Fryhouse, 26, and Nora Beth Lumberpratt, 23, were engaged on Thanksgiving Day of last year.
And now, the happy couple is thrilled to announce that they have just become the very first couple in the entire state of Colorado to get married in a pot shop.
Corky works at The Reefer Showroom Pot Shop in Vail and he asked his fiancee Nora if she would like to get married in the pot shop. Nora readily agreed and told her husband-to-be that she would be honored.
Nora's cousin, Florian Quiche, who recently became ordained on the Internet, officiated at the ceremony.
A group of 90 family, friends, and co-workers attended the wedding. The guests feasted on Rocky Mountain Goat Steaks, Waldorf Salads, and Marijuana Brownies.
Each guest was given a pot sampler packet which included three different brands of marijuana joints; one Durango Bango, one Rocky Mountain Rocket, and one Pikes Peak Pow-Pow.
Music was provided by Vail's own Freddie Fargo & His Fabulous Fiddle.
