Detroit, MI Detroit was chastised by the emergency bankruptcy manager for not revealing its lottery wins. It appears that Detroit has just been going out and having a good time and not letting the bankruptcy manager know about the windfalls.
"It's estimated that Detroit has made about $846 million just on the lottery, not to mention another $25 million in off-track betting. Why, if they had just turned it all in, we could have avoided the whole thing!" spoke the bankruptcy manager behind his bullet-proof glass.
"There will be penalties to pay. The only problem is, we can't find anyone willing to go to Detroit and tell them about it," spoke an anonymous source.
