DETROIT - President Obama was in Detroit where he gladly announced that he has talked to representatives from the Republic of China about opening up a factory in Detroit.
The president said that the factory will be housed in the old Oldsmobile Plant and it will produce Chinese rickshaws.
A spokesperson for The Quick-Quick Rickshaw Corporation in Hong Kong stated that the idea is to use unemployed American auto workers to build the rickshaws which will then be shipped back to China.
The spokesperson identified as Chen Lee Ping remarked that it is a win-win situation because China will not have to pay any freight charges and the labor will be provided by laid-off U.S. auto workers who will go off of the unemployment ranks.
President Obama, Vice-President Joe Biden, and civilian advisor Oprah Winfrey are all extremely elated at this new corporate deal.
Ms. Winfrey even agreed to invest $32 million in The Quick Quick Rickshaw Corporation.
SIDENOTE: Chen Lee Ping stated to the United States news media that his company is proud to have Ms. Oprah Winfrey as one of its owners and corporate vice-presidents.
