A stolen LAPD marked vehicle was recovered from an address in Laguna Hills today, LAPD officers say.

Officers Pete Malloy and James Reed were on routine patrol in Laguna Hills when they spotted the marked vehicle with two boys dressed as LAPD officers sitting on the hood eating donuts and drinking soda.

Pete Malloy promptly exited the vehicle along with his partner and placed the two boys under arrest and read them their Miranda rights. The older of the two boys promptly looked up and said to Officer Malloy, 'Want a donut?' Officer Malloy politely declined the offer, upon which the older boy asked 'So, whose car are we going back to the station in?' and produced his valid drivers licence.

The vehicle shop number is #80789.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
