MILWAUKEE - A Wisconsin gynecologist named Dr. Ashburn B. Bixbocker has found a novel way to increase his sagging number of patients.
The Milwaukee doctor consulted a consulting firm and he was told to install a slot machine in his waiting room.
At first Dr. Bixbocker thought that the consulting firm representative was kidding him. But he was assured that the idea was a legitimate one.
So this past week the doctor purchased a standard size Las Vegas slot machine and had it installed in his waiting room.
And within 48 hours the doctor's patients had tripled in number. Dr. Bixbocker said that he now has the happiest waiting room of any ob/gyn doctor in the entire city of Milwaukee.
