COLUMBUS, Ohio - The state of Ohio has just passed a new law regarding criminal mug shots.
State Senator Alyssa Wordwiggle, 43, [D-Cincinnati] spearheaded the law referred to as The Senator Alyssa Wordwiggle Smiling Mug Shot Law, after she was approached by several members of various Ohio law enforcement agencies.
The senator, who worked her way through college by working as a pole dancer, noted that one officer identified as Deputy Sheriff Wallace "Wally" Kipperkinski, 38, of Hamilton County (Cleveland) visited her in her office.
He told her that just in the month of March alone he personally took 37 mugs shots and out of those, 23 of the individuals came out smiling in the photos.
Deputy Sheriff Kipperkinski stated that this showed a total lack of respect for the law. He also pointed out that it showed the youth of Ohio that being in a police station was somehow a fun experience.
Senator Wordwiggle completely agreed with him and authored the bill which was passed and will now go into effect on Tuesday, April 30, at 12:45 p.m.
Anyone violating the bill after the effective date by smiling in his or her mug shot will be fined $700 for the first offense.
And if he or she should be stupid enough to repeat the mug shot smiling stunt again the fine will triple to $2,100.
SIDENOTE: An inside source has stated that Bedroom Pillow Talk reported that Senator Wordwiggle and Deputy Sheriff Kipperkinski are presently dating.
