Although he has stated previously that he doesn't want to run as a Vice Presidential candidate, many say that Marco Rubio would have a hard time turning down the opportunity to become the next Vice President of the United States.
"Rubio has everything going for him that Romney needs", a campaigner for Romney told a few reporters Friday. "He's very popular with Hispanics, the elderly and even the Tea Party. He would be the perfect choice."
Other things going for Rubio is that he is not a Washington Insider. Plus his win as Junior United States Senator from Florida was a big upset, as he came from far behind to defeat two other candidates in a very close race.
Rubio was born to Cuban immigrants and was raised in Miami, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada.
"Oh, Rubio would be a great catch for Romney", admits Vice President Joe Biden. "But I don't think he's ready to do all the things that a Vice President has to do in Washington, like...well.....like..uh...leading the cheering for the President while he's making his State of the Union Speech and..uh...ah.....things."
Asked if Rubio DID agree to run as VP, Biden right away stated that the first thing the Democrats would do is check for his birth certificate to make very very sure that he was actually born in Miami and not in Cuba.
