Pop singer Jessie J says she was disgusted at student behaviour at a recent gig in the Republic of Ireland.
The singer recently performed at Trinity College in Dublin and she was "shocked" at the level of student drinking.
"In my day, anyone turning up at a late night Saturday concert would have been absolutely rat arsed, out of their faces.
Most of the students last week have to work at the weekend to pay their fees so they came straight to the gig and were very subdued.
There was no alcohol fuelled high jinks, no banter, no sexist insults at all throughout the whole evening.
It was really boring".
An angry Students Union leader Quentin Armitage later indicated that they would look into the possibility of starting concerts even later than at present to give their members the chance to get "well and truly out of it".
