A toddler is recovering after being served a margarita instead of apple juice at a popular restaurant.
15-month-old Dominic Dill-Reese began saying 'hi' and talking to the walls after taking a sip from his cup at the Detroit eaterie.
Said his mother, Taylor: "He eventually laid his head down on the table. He was a little out there."
She tried some of his drink and realised it was margarita mix.
"I was beside myself," she added. "Absolutely horrified. I mean... margarita mix!
"That stuff is rubbish and always gives you a sweet, insipid cocktail. You must use proper ingredients - a good tequila, obviously, Triple Sec (Cointreau is just as good) and fresh lemon juice, though I prefer lime juice."
The restaurant has explained that an error at the bar caused the mix to be poured into a container intended for apple juice.
"It's gonna make a crap appletini, that's for sure," Taylor added.
