It would appear that certain individuals pay no heed whatsoever to lessons which should have been learned long ago.
As yesterday's student protest marches erupted in violence in a number of cities, tired critics of Conservative policy could only shrug their shoulders and say: "We told you so."
The main concern at this point, is; how far does it all have to go before it gets completely out of control?
Weary reporters have seen all this before - Thatcher induced recession, the decimation of industry and invention in favour of banking and commerce.
Austerity measures. Social injustice. The erosion of core values in favour of the quick fix. Narrow minded Conservative dogma - invented by the blind, and followed by the dull witted with Chauvinistic zeal.
The irony of it all, is that the vast majority of the dissenting students probably voted Conservative, or Lib-Dem - and they are now upset because they have been well and truly shafted by a barrage of false promises.
History should have taught them that such a course of events was inevitable.
The bottom line is all about money. It always was, and always will be - the reality is that the majority voted for austerity cuts, and when the reality kicks in, they don't like it.
Let's not forget that these were just students, kids - it's worrying to contemplate what might happen when the real heavyweight organisations go on the march. With fewer police to deal with it all than ever before.
Poll tax riots revisited. Brixton, Toxteth, Handsworth, all over again.
Some people just never learn.
Especially the self serving electorate.
You won't need more from Skoob News on this.
It'll be up close and personal.
