The Queen's Crown is missing after Her Majesty accidentally flushing it down a lavatory at Buckingham Palace.
A spokesman from the Palace said that whilst the Queen was bending over the toilet in an incident described as a "double-flusher," the crown slipped off and disappeared down into the drains.
The Palace immediately informed the SAS who have sent three teams down into the London sewers to try and recover the Crown. All Londoners have been asked to refrain from flushing their toilets for at least 48 hours to aid the search efforts.
The Queen is said to be in an embarrassed but stable condition after the incident.
