Miscount!

ITV today sensationally announced that the 2009 Britain's Got Talent final telephone vote had been miscounted.

"Due to a broken valve in our computer/toaster combination unit, the final result was incorrectly calculated," admitted a spokesperson. "We have now replaced the valve and counted again. It turns out that the vote actually resulted in a hung result, with no overall winner."

It is now expected that Diversity and Susan Boyle will seek to form a coalition act, likely to be known as 'Suboversity'.

SuBo fanatics were threatening to tear up their red scarves. "Whilst we support the concept of a coalition, we feel it should be with somebody other than Diversity," rambled an American fanatic. "We think it should be Piers Morgan, and then she could be known as Susan Morgan. I already have the wedding dress made and a chapel ready to go in my basement! All I need now is the chloroform!" continued the fanatic while menacingly stroking her cat.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
