Well known artist LS Lowry was, today, celebrated in Manchester by artistic tableaux depicted by 1,000 naked art lovers.
These naked art lovers, all ages, shapes and sizes, joined together in honour of LS Lowry and every 10 minutes they formed different a tableau depicting famous paintings by Lowry.
Members of The Red Scarf Brigade (Subo fan-atics) decided they too wanted to take part in this wonderful celebration. They did insist, however, on wearing their famous 'red scarves' to avoid blending in with the other volunteer participants.
The Red Scarf Brigade are becoming well-known around Britain and the USA as they turn up wherever the t.v. crews and other media gather.
They regularly attend funerals and weddings, even if the only form of media are cell phones with video applications.
It seems they have become addicted to publicity and have no shame.
At the London Zoo recently, two fanatics (sisters) insisted on being inside the lioness's cage, with zoo vets, when the lioness was giving birth. This was televised and was on the World Wildlife webcam, live. They did have to pay through the nose with a huge donation of their husbands' cash, for the privilege. The money went to the upkeep of animals at the zoo.
They insisted on wrapping a red scarf around the lioness and had miniature scarves 'at the ready' to put around the necks of the cubs as they arrived into the world.
The zoo vets were offered red plastic scarves but turned them down as the scarfs had not been sanitized.
We are left wondering....Where will these 'crazies' pop up next?
