The political world was shaken today when rumours emerged that the Conservative leader and possible Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife could be about to split up.
Samantha, who is pregnant, had asked David what he wanted for breakfast. David Cameron replied "I think I will have a fry up," to which Sam replied "shall I throw in an egg David?" At this, Mr Cameron got up and stormed out muttering "not you as well Sam".
The day before the Tory leader had been at Cornwall College Saltash on the hustings when a young student threw an egg at him and was later arrested but released. Neither Samantha or David Cameron were available for comment.
Mr Al Bumen of the Fair Treatment of Eggs party said it was a waste of a good egg and they were a versatile food, much too good to be wasted on a politician.
Mr Cameron must be fed up with poultry this week as the Daily Mirror paraded a person dressed as a chicken the day before the egg throwing incident.
