Gordon Brown is to be the first Prime Minister in space it has been announced today. Brown is desperately trying to do something to try and win the next General Election, as his popularity is lower than a champion limbo dancer.
Brown will have to go and do a few physical and psychological tests to see if he is fit enough to go into orbit when he goes for a medical today.
Alastair Dullthing says that this will be a good vote winner but other people are not so complimentary. James Robertson of Glasgow said "Brown in orbit? I would rather send him to Mercury."
Its been a long time since the last monkey was sent into space.
