Some visitors to Spains EU presidency website were directed to a blog that showed a smiling Mr Bean instead of the countrys Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.
We decided to conduct a poll to see if people in the UK would prefer Mr Bean as Prime Minister instead of Gordon Brown and were astounded to find that 100% of people would prefer Mr Bean to be Prime Minister.
Mike Roberts of London said "Brown is the biggest loser that has ever been Prime Minister I would vote for Mr Bean"
Robert MacTavish of Edinburgh said "It would be great to get rid of Brown I would vote for Mr Bean although I would rather he was Prime Minister of Scotland here in Edinburgh as I am fed up with Scotland being ruled by a government in England"
