Police have finally revealed that a body found in a Westminster flat in 1990 had been there for 11 years.
The woman, identified only as Margaret, first moved in to the flat in 1979. Many people saw her waving to friends and family when she moved in. However, she was never seen again.
Detective Inspector Frank Hayes said "This is a difficult case because she had many neighbours over the years. Some of them were really odd. But that doesn't help us."
The flat was not disturbed until John Greychap moved in. He discovered a mountain of mail, mostly petitions and some love letters from a guy from Washington called Ronnie.
One former local resident, Kenneth Jazzbeer said "It's very sad but remeber there is no such thing as society."
