Just when Gordon Brown might have been forgiven for thinking things could not get any worse the under pressure Prime Minister has along with several others been embroiled in the expenses scandal.
I can exclusively reveal that on top of his £64,766 MP's salary Mr Brown has been claiming an additional £132,932 for his role as Prime Minister.
When questioned earlier today about the accusations Mr Brown stated "Oche eye it's true but as Leader of the Labour Party its my job to be PM, an canna do oout aboot it"
A rather smug and unusually cheerful David Cameron said "£132k a year to run the country? I wouldn't trust him to run a bath! Surely the time has come for Mr Brown to do the decent thing and repay the money he has claimed for supposedly running the country and call a general election."
