In a refreshing break from royal protocol, Prince William is going to appear in the forthcoming adverts for supermarket chain Morrison's following in the steps of Lulu, Gabby Logan and Alan Hansen.
A royal spokesperson said 'Wills is delighted to be involved, he loves Morrison's, especially their own brand of baked beans and he just can't get enough of them along with their oven fries. The other royals prefer Fortnum & Masons but Wills is what we call a Morrison's man and thinks they are the royal business.'
Morrison's Group Marketing & Communications Director, Angus Maciver said, 'Having the Prince endorse our products is a real bonus and means that we can continue to enhance our brand of FMCG (Fast moving Consumer Goods) and compete with the likes of Sainsbury's and that annoying mockney, Jamie Oliver.'
Morrison's will however drop the traditional Take That song Shine which accompanies the adverts as the Prince is not really a fan of the group, preferring the likes of The Foo Fighters, Slipknot and Vivaldi.
